During your first new patient visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth if needed. [We advise current x-rays be sent by your previous dentist prior to this appointment]. The dentist will meet with you to discuss your X-rays,examine for caries, gum (periodontal) disease,and oral cancer. She will create a treatment plan and answer any questions you may have.
At your next visit, a hygienist will clean and polish your teeth, and inspect your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.
